Western blot analysis of anti-TLN1 antibody (BM1603).The sample well of each lane was loaded with 50ug of sample under reducing conditions.
Lane 1: Rat brain tissue lysates,
Lane 2: human HELA whole cell lysates,Use rabbit anti- TLN1 1:1000, probed with a goat anti-mouse IgG-HRP secondary antibody. The signal is developed using an Enhanced Chemiluminescent detection (ECL) kit (Catalog # EK1001). A specific band was detected for TLN1 at approximately 270KD. The expected band size for TLN1 is at 270KD.

Talin is a high-molecular-weight cytoskeletal protein concentrated at regions of cell-substratum contact and, in lymphocytes, at cell-cell contacts. Talin serves a function of linking vinculin to the integrins, and, thus, the cytoskeleton to extracellular matrix(ECM) receptors. It has a mass of 270 kD and shares 23% N-terminal identity with ezrin, which has similar functions. TLN gene is mapped to 9p.
