Western blot analysis of WNT4 using anti-WNT4 antibody (BA3160-2). The sample well of each lane was loaded with 30 ug of sample under reducing conditions.
Lane 1: MCF-7 whole cell lysates.
After electrophoresis, proteins were transferred to a membrane. Then the membrane was incubated with rabbit anti-WNT4 antigen affinity purified polyclonal antibody (BA3160-2) at a dilution of 1:1000 and probed with a goat anti-rabbit IgG-HRP secondary antibody (Catalog # BA1054). The signal is developed using ECL Plus Western Blotting Substrate (Catalog # AR1197). A specific band was detected for WNT4 at approximately 39 kDa. The expected band size for WNT4 is at 39 kDa.

Wingless-type MMIV integration site family, member4, is a secreted protein that in humans is encoded by the Wnt4 gene. By fluorescence in situ hybridization, WNT4 gene was mapped to chromosome 1p35, a location consistent with the results of radiation hybrid mapping. The WNT gene family consists of structurally related genes that encode secreted signaling proteins. These proteins have been implicated in oncogenesis and in several developmental processes, including regulation of cell fate and embryogenesis.
